Danielle or DJ as her family affectionately calls her read from the Torah at Oheb Shalom, South Orange, NJ on the occasion of her Bat Mitzvah. DJ is the last of three siblings to go through this rite of passage. I was the photographer for all three and I truly enjoyed the time I spent with this family.

Of course this occasion would not be complete without a lively party at Beth Ahm, Springfield, NJ. This crowd knows how to do a Hora. Great food and non stop festive dancing was the order of the day. Dj’s friends from Solomon Schechter, West Orange, NJ made sure that it was a great day.
