Mason’s Millburn Bar Mitzvah

Mason’s Bar Mitzvah was an all day affair in Millburn NJ. We met early for family photos at Bnai Jeshrun, Short Hills NJ. I was with this loving family all day from morning to midnight.

A party immediately followed services at Basilico, Millburn, NJ. Friends and family took over the restaurant inside and out. It was a beautiful day and kids ate outside on the cafe style patio and the adults were inside. A section of the restaurant was cleared out for dancing including a Hora. A roving magician dazzled everyone with his tricks. Of course the food and wine were terrific.

The party continued at Mason’s House that night. It was a beautiful evening and a tent and dance floor were set up in the backyard. Jason Zaplin of DJ Zap Music, Livingston, NJ gave the backyard a club atmosphere. The catering was amazing, tacos from Tinga, Millburn, NJ, a wood burning pizza truck from Pizza Vita, Summit, NJ and an ice cream cart from Ben & Jerry. I wonder where did Ben & Jerry get the ice cream from for their Bar Mitzvahs. Having the party at home even gave the family dog a chance to celebrate too.
