It was smooth sailing all day, June 16, 2018 for the B’nai Mitzvah of Fiona and Dash, twins from Maplewood NJ. The day started at Temple Sharey Tefilo, South Orange NJ. The sanctuary was filled with family & friends to hear their Torah portions
Immediately after services there was a kiddish luncheon at Sharey Tefilo in their elegant mansion. It was a beautiful day and guests enjoyed being outside on the Mansion’s huge patio.
The party continued at sea on the Atlantis Yacht that departed from the docks in Liberty State Park, Jersey City, NJ. It was a spectacular evening for a cruise, the weather was great. The Hora on the top deck at sunset with the skyline of NYC in the background was inspiring. The Yacht cruised all night around Manhattan. NYC’s skyline and Jersey City glowed in the setting sun. The ship passed by all the bridges, The Statue of Liberty, South Street Seaport and The UN. On board there was a party on three decks. The first deck featured ethnic foods from around the world. The second deck was the disco that rocked all night with DJ Alex of Pure Entertainment, South Amboy, NJ. The top deck was the place to relax and enjoy the scenery.
